There was some talk of Toyota switching to 04A71 late in the 2018 production run, but gawd only knows what the ID will look like on the '19's. I'm not even sure if OVtune has the '19 M/T calibration yet (he probably does). Once he gets his hands on it, we'll know if it's the same as the updated '18 calibration (despite a possible change in the ID).

It's true though, the updated software made a huge difference in my experience (04B10 factory to 04B13 TSB). I would hope the '19's are running it. There will be a lot less complaints WRT driveability (specifically throttle response/lag, off the line bog etc). Anyway, kudos to Toyota for improving their product!

Is it nice under that rock?

    Just kidding!

Edit: BTW, there is now a "proper" TSB that includes M/Ts - 0125-18. I don't know what the Canadian TCI # is.... it might be buried in that thread. I did the update myself, so I never really looked into those details.

Great looking truck. I really wish us Canuks could get the TRD OR with a manual, and leather for that matter.

I was getting 19.5 average tank for almost two years on my 17. I bought same truck and drive the same commutes and now I can only get 18 mpg in my 2019. I have 1000 miles on it. Will it improve or is it past that point of learning my habits at this mileage. Both trucks are the manual.

Thank you all! Today, I took the truck out to the nearest Salt Lake City mountains and enjoy a little light off road to feel out the truck and its manual transmission. Very interesting experiences comparing to my previous ‘15 automatic for sure. There are so many possibilities to build this cool machine to my taste in the near future. Looking forward to connect with TW fans and learn all the tricks here.
    Cheers,

Good choice on the MT. I don’t regret mine one bit. Swapped the shift knob and love it even more. I need to find a skull knob for Halloween times.

Man... I freaking love the Cement color. I just paid off my Taco, so don't make me get the itch.

Congrats on the truck! Cement looks neat!

Nice truck! Fits my exact specifications and color...I am envious...

It is hard to find OR's with a manual around here. Most if not all manuals I've seen in these parts are the Sport. I'm thinking I may have to go with the Sport to get a manual.

You can always order one instead of having to settle for one you don't really like.
