Hey Guys. Decided I wanted to cut down a tree this year and got my Christmas tree permit today. I’m still fairly new to AZ... I can pretty much use it in the tonto forest and have a map of the approved areas but not sure where to try and find a decent tree... would love to find a fir or spruce tree!

    Anyone have any advice? Thanks!

Two years ago I went back the Colcord Estate rd, between Payson and the Mollogon Rim. I found a nice tree that an elk rubbed the bottom but the top was nice and full.
