@Whitebutler you and your family are in our prayers that you guys get back on your feet soon!! Despite the fact it’s devastating to lose all that, Im so grateful it’s only possessions you lost and that you guys are safe.

Sorry to hear of the impact to you and your family. My parents lost their home in the Camp Fire and are with me now. My mother had a similar experience driving through the fire. Took her four hours to get to Chico. My parents are doing well and are in good spirits. Events like this open your eyes to what is important in life...

    Geez what a weekend!
Ok here's a bit more to make rhings just so much better. This is a total my fault deal here. I don't like banks and banks and credit cards and that whole thing. For the last 25 years I have paid cash for everything. I kept cash in a safe and a few other spots. Well it's all gone, but I received some cash from my two employers and a long list family member so we have food and got some personal items as well as a few changes of clothing.
God works in mysterious ways. Took it all and handed enough back to ease our tension. We're blessed to all have each other! That goes for all of you here on TW as well!

Also I'm looking for a large propane tank. The trailer we are in has two tiny things and I'm trying to find out or two large tanks about 100 pound tanks. If I had bigger tanks I can get it delivered when the local company come out here for our neighbors. I'm actually in Anderson and can get email at whitebutler66@yahoo.com.

Headed to the store and then post office to send off a care package to @Whitebutler.

I need a couple more folks to step forward and I can make it a nice round number in gift card value to mail!

    More ways to give:

Im handling the personal donations to our TW family. You can mail me gift cards. Even partially used ones are acceptable!

Have credit card points you can exchange for gift cards or e-gift cards? I’ll handle them, or if you need an email for a recipient, message me and I’ll get you @Whitebutler email addy.

You can donate via my paypal email address merritt.wj@gmail.com

Have that coin jar sitting around collecting your pocket change? Take it to a Coinstar -usually found in grocery stores- and cash it in for FREE when you opt for an e-gift card. (They typically have Amazon, Home Depot, restaurants, etc). You can snail mail them to me and I’ll include them with other mailings. Find a kiosk near you and what ecards are available before you even leave the sofa. https://www.coinstar.com/findakiosk

Second trip of tacos made a hell of a run yesterday! Many thanks to those who gave and donated what they could. You are all greatly appreciated and your an awesome family to have!
@Twizted and @Uphillshunter made along day and night to come all the way to Anderson to drop things off we needed. Never in a million years did I think others would have done that for us! I know I don't have to say it but, I will be next in line to help out what ever comes your way or our way as a family!

Just in case some ar wondering. We have not been able to go in to our house yet. We have got a place to stay and my in laws pooled together got us a trailer to stay in on the property.
We have gotten a cookware set and flatware silverware and a few kitchen items needed. Our children made it three days ago from their dads house and now they are clothed and have shoes.
My wife still gets watery eyes when I talk about all the help here. Tacoma World, you are awesome! Never will I pass a chance to help out. You all came together as a community and made our lives almost whole again. Thank you all.
