Got into some good old NV history as well, already put the bottle opener or, "crown cork opener" to use, first time its opened a beer in 110+ years.

William Jennings Bryan was a big proponent of the silver mines and campaigned alot in the small mining towns in NV... hence the "Bryan" pocket watch fob. Love learning new things about our state.

I hate plumbing. I’ve had to replace the main shutter line at my house and it seems like I’m snaking the bathroom every few months. Guess that’s part of living in a 40’s house.

Yeah. The previous owner had to replace the waterline because of tree roots and all the plumbing in the house has been replaced...water and sewer. Only thing left to do is sewer line to the street and cut that fucking tree down that is planted within 10ft of the utilities...or just have a plumber come in every 3 months to snake and clear the roots until we sell it.

Between our place that was built in 1930 and the rental built in 1928 it seems I'm always chasing something that needs to be repaired.

Nothing fun here. Spent Saturday on a plane coming back from Maui. Got in around 12:15 this morning and it was 50* cooler than HI, slept til noon, picked up dog from boarding, some grocery shopping, then did homework that I slacked on all week.

Ferntucky 4x4 FB group is doing Bronco Canyon on the 25th if anyone wants to go.
From event post > "Want to run bronco canyon Sunday the 25th
Us local wheelers can meet up and caravan to vc I (he) plan to trailer down and park where I can.
Trail is a mild short run with some great views. They say 35s and lockers but 33s with lockers and spotting should be good to. Tow points and recovery equipment is a must."

I’ve heard recently that Bronco is in pretty rough shape.

Ouch. I’m not taking my stock shit through there. Just saying for others it’s probably more of a 35’s trail than a 33’s trail right now.

He's talking 8am, but that's Ferntucky meet time to caravan to Virginia City (not sure when we'll get to VC)

Cool. I'm potentially in if my house guests leave by then.

I needed to get out of the house yesterday so I loaded up the Taco & headed for the Pine Grove Forrest (SE of Yerington).
It had been a while (6 years) and the trails were a lot wilder than the last time. I didn't bother airing down & there weren't any real difficult spots, just real narrow in spots.
Pine Grove Mine was one of the 1st mining sites Chris & I visited after getting the Taco.

It's a nice day out in Boca. A little hazy but I was expecting worse.
