I’ve looked at them now and want a set.

Sure do. Price is decent, too.

I wonder how they stack up against the TRX axles.

I may steal the scout body for another build.... Redcat just still isn't an axial. I'm a fanboy. I will say I respect their honesty about not designing and instead paying a Chinese company that copydesigned it not to sell the gen7 to anyone else....

I bought a Thunder Tiger Hilux, I was looking at more expensive options but decided to try this thing out. For $180 RTR it’s awesome! Needs better shocks, that’s the only thing I can find that it really needs.

First time with it outside, it crawls!

I guess, the motor assembly is moved forward connecting it to the transfer case with a second drive shaft

3/16 round bar for the bumpers/cage. I drew up the mounts and skid in Solidworks and cut em on the waterjet at work from .110 steel. I formed. He welded it all. I sand blasted and painted it. It has taken a beating and the hard body is still solid. scratched and gouged to shit, but still not broken anywhere..

That's a good price. The cab and bed from Tamiya are almost that much and this has the windows, mirrors grill steps and sleeper cab
