If I had $30k and some vacation, maybe a drive to Texas for an engine swap. That is install price and for gen2 and gen3 for that Taco Diesel. D-4D.
I believe it has a 500,000 mile rebuild and 310 torque. Sacrifice HP for Torque..

 

Yea it would be sick!! I don’t need the HP, but that Torque sure would be fun.

 

Well that shouldn’t be too far in the future.

 

3.6 is certainly more reliable than the old 3.8

Thankfully I’ve got a ton of ground clearance. Snorkel is on the list.. it’s just not cheap and I’ll certainly need help installing. I’ve never cut into body panels and so I’m a little gun shy about it
