I’m an organization freak.

The yellow top / black plastic containers work well for me. The 27 gal and 13 gal are the perfect height to fit under a Tonneau cover. The width and length led itself to fitting neatly in the bed.

These are the bigger 27 gallon that fit nicely under my home made plywood shelf.



These are the half size 13 gallon ones. If you stow the two small ones along side each other, they match the L x W x H of the 27 gallon bins


I think I got mine on coupon at Costco for 7 bucks each for the 27 gal

14 or so bucks for a pair of the 13 gal.

They sell same at HD and Lowe’s.

I was thinking about just getting a cap and making my own drawer system for the bed with a bed slider on top of the drawer system

My system is definitely not fancy.

It gets the job done.

 

I don’t want to do anything fancy until I’m dead set on what I want to do, things are still in the air

 

I’d like to eventually rebuild the stock trans cross member and do flat-belly.

With the clocked t-case there’s a good 2” of clearance to be had.

I’ve only ever seen one other 2nd gen with this done in person - it was pretty impressive.

 

Oh agreed there is definitley potential to tuck the belly skid up more if the tcase is clocked. I remember the ttora days where some guys were tapping new fill plugs into these cases. Not sure where the cant clock the 2nd gen tcases came from.

 

I got it from Wyatt at Rock Solid Toys. I mentioned clocking it, and he told me what I’ve already posted.

Makes sense adding an extra quart through the shifter opening, or drilling a new full plug hole, to get the pick up back in the oil though.

 

Meant I disagree with the information RST gave you. The old Marlin crawlboxes even use to allow you to clock the factory tcases. Either way, there is info out there if you do decide to clock

 

They actually have degree marks on them for the ratio of clock...
15* is not a lot when you think about it.

What about “taco lean”. Erryone worries about their truck leaning to the driver side after putting in a lift so if you clock the t case it will akchooally be back to sitting like stock
