Greetings Idahoans. My family and I just moved up to North Idaho in late summer. Been lurking for a long time and haven’t noticed any panhandle TW peeps on this thread. I’m located up in the panhandle. Any fellow taco peeps located up here? I’m in Boundary county close to Canada eh.

Did you see this article: https://www.ktvb.com/article/news/l...-rights-as-wilkses-lock-up-land/277-615081880

Essentially they are buying up old timber industry land across the state. Holding it or selling parts of it. Some access can be argued for like FS374, but they are closing all roads that cross their property.

Our state officials passing the new trespassing law is a real bummer. No doubt some money changed hands there. Land should be posted, the increasing of fines and penalties is adding insult to injury IMO.

It’s the brutal reality that land you didn’t think was privately owned is private because it has a legacy of being open for generations. I don’t buy the abusive logging bit as people in the lower states don’t understand harvesting timber. Also another great example of government-decrease boundary requirements but increase the penalty. I have a lot in Boise County so I am a little jaded.

I was up on the middle fork multiple times this year @m3bassman and was ashamed at how trashed some of the sites were. I have never seen that there until this past summer. The valley blowing up has some serious downsides. I can't imagine what those peoples houses look like.

I would be down for an adopt the middle fork road weekend and haul some of that trash out of there.

I've never seen the trasharoo either, but I could get down with one of those to aid in pickup. I usually pick up a contractors bag worth of shit any time I'm out shooting or fishing near high-use areas. Does it connect to the tailgate pretty easily without having a spare back there?

I am near Idaho City along hwy 21. It snowed but didn't stick that much. Mostly gone now except at the peaks.

Love my trasharoo. About wore out though. Also, how do you get it short enough to just go around the tailgate. Or do you have it aound something else in the bed. When I remove the swing-away for towing in the summer I would love to strap it to my tailgate like yours. But can't seem to get it short enough to snug up. Is it just kinda loose?

Finally getting to put my CBI front bumper on which means I pulled off my old bull bar.

It is FREE to a good home. You can see it in my profile pic but it will be without the lights. Located in Nampa.

Are you headed over Idaho Falls to pick it up? If so and you have time on your way through Poky and you want to grab a coffee or something(depending on time of day) and talk supercharged taco's I would love to meet up with you. Not alot of them thar superchargers around here and I am interested to hear other peoples experiences with them. LOL Oh and the interstate intersection just on the east side of Burley is tore up and make sure you stay left to not end up in Utah. Have heard of a few people that missed that section of signage only to make their drive a couple extra hours longer. They were not happy. LOL
