I don't think it comes with the Premium package by default. I got a 2019 TRD Sport Premium+Technology and don't have Homelink in my mirror. I think it is an add-on/upgrade for anything, but the Limited and maybe TRD Pro are the only ones it comes from the factory with it. I could be wrong and it comes with the OR Premium too, but it would be weird to have it on that but not the Sport Premium. It might be the dealers you got it from just upgrade them by default as well?

It was $130 on Bobs mirrors (Ebay) and plug an play. Like unplugging a phone jack and easy screw to hold the mirror.

I negotiated one as part of the sales deal on my 2018 Sport which the dealer agreed to. I don't know if they installed an OEM or aftermarket mirror, but it works just fine.

The dealer may have and "accessory" guy who might be get you hooked up.

bothered me too but believe me, spend 25 dollars on a nice clicker and you wont even care to spend on a home link

I just bought the same truck. It came with the Homelink Mirror. Set up was easy and so far it works like a charm.

Did not know LED fog lights were available. Can they be added afterwards?

Do the factory homelink mirrors work with the ignition off? I have been wanting to upgrade but I really would like it if the homelink turned off with the ignition.

Factory is wired to constant power and so always on.

It is a concern if anyone breaks in, but no more than a wireless remote.

There is keyed power in the console. Would not be difficult to rewire.

Interesting. They have switched power for the compass. I wonder why the homelink is always working.

Bought one from eBay for $35. Mine was a model 453, but most any Gentex mirror with the Homelink buttons on it will work. Tons of them are available. The trick is, practically all of them are 10 pin connectors whereas the Tacomas utilize a 12 pin connector. The sweet part is, you can make your own adapter with the same connector used for computer disc drive cables.

So much misinformation... the Homelink mirror only comes (factory standard) with the Pro and Limited trims, peiord. And, is not available as an factory option... some dealers may make them available (as is the tailgate power lock) and charge an outrageous price for the “mod” (like the tailgate power lock, which is $92 on Amazon).

From info on the forum and YouTube, the wiring harnesses is installed and the Homelink mirror can easily be self installed... or, pay the dealer to do it for an outrageous fee (like the tailgate power lock).

    This is the correct answer.

Now, can we move on to the "6-gallons of gas" part? Seriously? Not a full tank?

Agreed... with all those dealer installed modifications (not options), one would believe the dealer could find $30 for the additional 15 gallons... don’t think I would buy from them unless that dealership is the only one within 50 miles or so...
