Just had the TSB 0058-18 re-flash. I have gone from "I can't wait for this lease to end" to "I may just buy this Taco after the lease is up". Now, if there was some way to fix the pathetic lack of low end torque...

Finally convinced a dealership to do this for me. Holy shit it’s like a brand new vehicle!

Is there anything that can be done for the 2.7 with auto. Its fine around town but not happy with the way it shifts going up mountain highways. Especially with cruse control on.

It has enough power. What is annoying is cruse control is useless, downshifts until it red lines so i just turn it off. After i turn cruse off i can climb the passes with only using half the gas peddle. I put it in S otherwise it jumps from 4th to 5th every few seconds up every pass. Literally every second it will shift back and forth. I guess i will just use S if i ever go out of town.

I am happy with it in town but every time i go out of town i start to wish i had bought a manual transmission.
