What's up guys so before I start bolting stuff on I figured I'd document this for anyone who has similar ideas and may have questions or would want to bounce ideas off each other. I keep this thread updated with everything I've done, I am currently doing, and what's next!

The first mod I did was Cali Raised Side Projecting Led Pods, Cali Raised Low Pro ditch light mounts, and an OEM switchpanel with 3 OEM style switches.

Next thing I got and installed was Yota leds +16 Tacoma Raptor Lights. They were a quick and easy install and a very well made product.

So I'm not a huge fan of Toyotas "desert air intake" I really don't like how high it comes up and how it bolts to the roof rack when the Safari ARB was a great product they could have mimicked so I am considering removing Toyota snorkel but that will be another post for another time. But with having a snorkel and considering fording capabilities I decided to run a breather hose from my rear differential a little higher on my body so if the Breather cap ever got stuck open while I was under water I wouldn't have to be worried about my rear differential. It was a quick and easy install and the parts cost less than $25

So I've got alot more to come please stop by every so often and check out what I've got going on! In the next couple months I have products coming in from CBI Offroad, C4 Fabrication, Rotopax, Rigid Industries, and more. Lastly just a bit about me before I call it a day and eat some Turkey.. I'm a 28 year old Marine Grunt stationed in Camp Lejeune with great interest and experience in Feild Craft, Survival, Marksmanship, and alot more. I'm not new to overlanding but I am in no way an expert. I'm happy to learn and give any advice to those who have a question. Yall have a great thanks giving!

I agree the intake would have looked better if it was closer to even with the roof line. If you install a rack though like a prinsu or similar I think it’ll make it look more aschetically pleasing.

So that's my plan man I'm waiting to do a post about it. So I don't know if the prinsu you cabrac will fit because of the snorkel and I want that roof rack incredibly bad. I know I can make it work where it mounts to the roof of my truck but what I'm worried about is the head of the snorkel and if I will have to modify or cut the rack in anyway. I've been on dozens of forums I have tried contacting prinsu directly and no one can give me an answer of whether I can make this work or not so it's a difficult decision and choice if I buy the roof rack and it doesn't fit then my option at that point is to put a safari ARB on but that's another $500 that nobody would want to spend unless they absolutely had to so I'm coming down to a decision point and it's either wait and hope that prinsu will develop a new roof rack with the snorkel in mind or I buy it cross my fingers and if I have to try to modify it

Take some pictures from different angles at the roof line. I may be able to tell based off how mine is mounted and see if it’ll work. Also Dobinson’s just released a snorkel that is ~300 and looks just like the ARB, May be another option for you.

I have the Desert Air Intake (DAI) on mine as well and was thinking what if I wanted to put a rook rack. I think eventually aftermarket companies will have to address this and make one for people who have the DAI. I don't think even the factory Toyota roof rack will work with the DAI.

Yeah man, my intent was to buy the concrete grey, The voodoo blue is a bit much for me. I'm in love with that color and I was pretty upset when I learned they didn't have it in 2019

A custom roof rack may be an option.
