The previous version Hammer hangers with 4.9" is same height as current version with 4.5", both are as high as spring eye can be.
Also for other readers, lift height of U644/645 is 1.25" on AC, on DC it's basically a hair higher than stock.

Got my custom ADS 2.5x14 triple bypasses in as well as the relocation towers and shock mounts. Gotta page DMZ fab locally to see if they'll help me with the install.

Nice, the rear shocks look like a good layout

Thanks, I got everything in spec to the layout we talked about. Hoping they bolt right up.

I'm gonna be mid travel up front with the 2.5 ADS coilovers that are pictured and JBA upper arms. I went with a 14" because eventually I want to run a 2+ long travel kit up front and I'll switch out the dakars in the back for a spring under axle conversion. So I'll already have the 14" shock in there to keep up with the front when that time comes.

Got it. I will be King Extended or Mid Travel up front as well. As long as I am not too limited in travel by shoving 14" in now I wanted to go that route. Maybe get the 14" shorty version which is a tad shorter. I wanted to try and do it without going through the bed.

I've got welded lower rod ends to shorten up the compressed length of the shock. The shocks would only be the limit factor if you have enough up travel to bottom out the shock, which if you're spring over I doubt there's that much unless you go full stuff from articulation of the axle. Worst case scenario you have to space your bump stops up a little so you don't bottom out the shock, otherwise there's limit straps for all that droop travel you'll have to play with from the 14".

Sorry if this has already been answered, but how high above the frame rails is the upper shock mount on these? Thanks

All the way to the tippy tippy top. The upper bolt is about 1.5" below the notched trough on the DCSB

It all comes down to what you want to do with your truck. I can only speak from personal experience from working with SOA. My Dakars, even with the Eric's HH, only cycle about 12 3/8" without bump stops. If you work the math SOH-CAH-TOA, it's pretty easy to make a 12" work and not risk limiting up travel. I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but the 14" shock has a 3" longer body which is why Eric made his relocation kit so close to the bed. I'd imagine it gets tight trying to make a 14" fit and I have a hard time seeing anyone need more than the full stroke of a 12" with the proper geometry. This is again specifically for SOA and with leafs that don't arch too much. Maybe with a nice set of custom leafs and maxing out the bump travel?

Edit: I specifically quoted your message because you mentioned the TC kit. The TC hoops sit rather low in comparison to the Archive relocation so your limited on shock size mainly due to bump issues. I'm not sure why it was designed this way, maybe for bypass zone purposes? Someone else might be able to give better info on this.

That nice set of arched SOA leaves to match a 14" shock: https://archivegarage.com/products/archive-tacoma-spring

It would be a good fit for that, I will check in with a customer who puts weight on them

I paid 1200 for 12x2.5 smoothies with adjusters. The free tune makes it worth going there hands down!

Finally got the Archive SUA and Shock relocation with Fox 14" shocks installed and the Shackle flip w/ 4.75 shackles. Haven't had a chance to hit any dirt yet but stoked with the street ride so far. Thanks for all your help Eric @ARCHIVE and for answering all my questions. Your product is top notch man!

Don't mind the white splatter on the under carriage, it's from a paint can some douche left on a dirt road near my house.

Works great, I think there’s more and more of us running it every month. I know alex milkewski on Instagram has had his for a while and what he said about how his truck rides sold me on doing it!

So far ya, i havent had a chance to get any real dirt time in yet but the ride is really good so far. From my understanding the hammer hanger gives you a more compliant street ride over the shackle flip but ill let @ARCHIVE correct me if im off base on that.
