Seat Lift

I could not find a kit to raise the front seats so I made one. No new holes, just goes straight up 1.75". It really helps the ergonomics as I drive a manual and my ankle does not have to contort to press the clutch. Feels more like a truck cab, and can be removed without a trace.

 

Will you be offering these? If so how much?

 

Would that work for the second gen! They look the same.

 

Someone on here sells the cylinder, which I have, but the lift isn’t as high.

I need the opposite!
I'm very tall and wish the steering wheel went hire and the windshield was taller. Very large blind spot for me at rear view . I have to duck to see to my right at that angle of view .

 

Can you make sets of these for sale? I'd like a set that raises the front of the seat 1". If so, I am in....please!

 

If their was enough interest in these I could look into manufacturing and selling them. The liability is the problem.

 

If liability is a concern for you a simple stipulation may nullify any liability issues, "Install at your own risk" or "Buyer holds seller harmless" among others.

If the block is threaded the entire way I am interested, if its not...I wouldnt reccomend using it. You probably created a snap point on the bolt

But that thread is to raise rear only, which I already did. This offset spacer is just whats needed to really get the seat right.

Thats why i got a slickback. At 6’2” the sunroof was 100% out

 

Just made a set today . Use 1 1/2" square tubing 3" long with a 45 deg cut on 1 side i will install tomorrow
