Am I missing something somewhere? Seems like I would need to reset it when I want to not at every shutdown. Could be me, the truck is new and I have only had a few minutes to play with it and no time to read the manual and it’s not accessible right now so I’m asking you guys.

I mean it’s a trip meter. The trip is over when you turn it off. If you want to measure mileage for a longer trip than that use the trip A or B on the odometer.

Do you mean the trip meter in the center screen?? You also have "A' and "B" trip meters where the odometer is.

The center screen will reset every time the truck is shut down.

Ok, this was an ID10T error on my part as I am referring to the center screen. I hadn’t even noticed the “real” trip meter that you can reset. I just saw a thread and TSB about trip meters resetting and figured with my luck that mine was bad to. I really haven’t had the truck very long and drove it very little.

I’m off to crawl under a rock now.

Yeah, that RTFM thing solves a lot of stuff!
