Hello, i have a 1995.5 taco and i would like to swap out the stock steering wheel for something a little nicer. I've been looking up steering wheels and adapters online but not sure what I need to buy. Does anybody know what adaptor i will need to put a basic 6 bolt steering wheel in my truck?

The Lexus IS300 steering wheel will bolt on, including the Lexus clock spring.

Any specific years? Is the clockspring part of the airbag assembly?

No the clockspring is part of the steering column. I honestly don’t remember the years, you just need to get the one with the right airbag plug and single stage airbag squib.

You could probably put a 2018 Tacoma steering wheel on a 1995 Tacoma. Toyota never changed the spline of the steering column over the last 30 years. The difference is how the airbag squibs are connected to the truck. The Tacoma uses a single stage airbag squib, while most modern cars use a dual stage charge.
