Still 8" Going to stick with it front and rear. Now both the front and rear use the same hubs, bearings, etc.

Do you have any more pictures of your gauge pod mount under the airbag from this post?

That’s probably one of the most unique mods I’ve seen so far. Didn’t even realize you could utilize an A/C compressor for OBA. Very cool.

About how much space is behind that little strip under the airbag? Plan is to add switches there.

How efficient is that A/C compressor to say a Vlair or an ARB on-board compressor?

Quite a bit, certainly enough to run a few switches an actually a few 2" gauges.

    Checkout post #250 & #251

Rough numbers, but better output and less eletrical draw than alternative electrical compressors.

I wonder if it's possible to add another A/C compressor just for OBA and retain the factory A/C. You've intrigued me.

It appears belt-driven air compressors exist for Domestics:

Slow, nothing fun. Currently brake line hunting for the rear axle and 4runner calipers.
And...waiting on High Angle Driveline to have their shop up and running for the front dshaft to be lengthened for crawlbox.

That's basically what you are doing if you add a York or a sanden beltdriven air compressor. It's an old AC compressor, the problem with the 3.4 is there is zero room to get any other belt driven accessory in there.

A vendor used to make a bracket for a York, but they stopped. It was TIGHT from what I remember to get it in there.

Caught my attention while looking for flares, going to be almost 10" wider than stock so need something to show PD I'm trying to cover the tires. Hoping the rubber would form around a rock or tree and then come back to form when passed.
