So I have one of those new MacBook Pros with the touchbar which has a rather lack of connectivity to say the least. Only 4 Thunderbolt USB-C ports. So, with that being said, does anyone know what are my best options for connecting my old 1TB Lacie hard drive to get the fastest data transfer speeds? Currently I’m just using the USB 2.0 cable with a little USB type A to C adapter and it’s quite slow. Is there a cable out there that is FireWire 800 on one end and USB-C on the other? If the best option is to just get a USB-C hub with FireWire 800 connectivity, can anyone recommend a good one?

    Thanks for any insight!
