not bad. nothing technical, nothing crazy. if it rains, there's mud. if not, lots of hard packed sand. Let's you exercise the transfer case a bit. Most of the roads (if not all?) come up on the in dash nav so you can't really get lost. some trails do get tight. I have more pin stripes from wharton compared to other places I've been in TN, VA, NC. go figure. bring a machete and a bowsaw if you are worried about scratches. You'll get some. Most of the roads are wide, but there are 3 or 4 spots (about 5-10 feet in length) that are tight with overgrown shrubbery that will scratch up the fender and some of the paint. nothing that won't polish out. there's a lot of road networks so turn down whereever and drive around.

It's the closest thing around here. I go maybe 2x a year, early fall and early spring to get out of the house. It gets crowded in the summer with fishing and swimming holes. Might still be early enough in the season. When I go, I'm lucky if I see 1 or 2 people. Bring a tow strap. The last two times I went, there were cars stuck that needed to be pulled away so I could go through. 1 was a camry and another was a civic, both teenage boys at the wheel. It's usually in the middle of the forest. the beginning is fairly hard packed and I've seen mustangs and minivans going through there.

I've described it as a PBJ. I want a steak, but if I haven't eaten in a few day's, I 'll eat a PBJ sammich.

I think I'd like to start with a PBJ as my first meal and work my way up PBJ->Pizza->Burger->Steak.
I'm nervous taking it too far off-road while its still stock, but if minivans are rollin through...
