    Hi all,

I've read too many threads looking for my answer and they are mostly about the SPOD system or the single compressor and I can't figure out exactly what I want.

I want my switch under the hood and don't care about illumination or ign power. All I want is on/off for the compressor.

The pic is the 4 wires that would originally go into the cab to the ARB switch. I've read everything from only needing one wire hooded up to needing 3 wires??

What wires would I need to connect and where for the simple on/off function? I can use the arb switch or I have a simple 2 connection on/off switch.

    Thanks

For anyone ever looking for the answer I found it on another video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5H0CGDTyaoU

If you are only looking for compressor power and nothing else all you need to do run the purple line to the battery + and put a simple rocker switch inline somewhere on the purple between the batt and compressor.

the other wires are not needed at all.

    Super simple!

Could you just tap the main power cord with the 40 amp fuse with the purple line? And, how many amps would the switch need to be rated?

Give the purple wire +12v to turn the compressor on

Just use an add a fuse from the in cab fuse panel to the switch. The switch only needs to be rated for a few amps since it’s activating 2 relays in the pump

Test with a meter to see.
you Shound be able to do one that’s always on, or only on when the key is on.
