Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Past three years we've lived in this house we've never had a mouse problem quite like this. Near as I can tell, we have a whole colony of mice living in our walls! On all levels of the house I can hear them scuttling about in the walls and chewing on things. I've got traps everywhere, and have caught only a couple, a few cats and my wife recently bought an electric trap that doesn't seem to be worth a crap. Never in my life have I dealt with a mouse infestation quite like this, what should I do aside from calling an exterminator? Are those wall plug in deals worth trying? I figured with my cats and the neighbor's cats running around, we'd never have this problem but I guess the cats have lost their desire to hunt mice because the mice are taking over!

I don't want to use poison either for fear of the cats or dogs getting into it, plus the mice then go die somewhere and start to stink.

Start putting dryer sheets around. Poison kills them once they are back in the walls. I would call a good exterminator.

Would try and go under the house and set a ton of poison so the cats won't get to it but hopefully the mice will.

You could try a bucket trap (google it). Cats and dogs still might get into it but they won't be any worse for wear. Sounds like a pro might be the best option at this point though. I can only imagine the mess they're making in there.

I second the bucket trap idea.

Set up a couple at a friend's cottage. They have to be first inside to dispose before the grandson can see them. He wants to take them home as pets...Disney-fied mice. I like the swimming lesson method.

Get a couple of Victor tin cat traps.Smear some peanut butter on a piece of cardboard and place in trap.Put the traps in area where they left droppings/ect.Once one mouse is in trap,a lot of others will follow suit.Empty trapped mice into a bucket and do whatever with them.

The only thing the wall plugs ins to is make them not want to hangout in that specific area. My parents had them and they didn't seem to do much as the mice still are in the wall. Glue traps and bucket traps are your friend.

I fight the mouse battle all the time. I use standard snap traps, a lot of them. They work great.

Cats being outside don’t help with mice being inside.

You obviously have a place where mice are getting in the house. That is the problem that needs to be resolved.

In the meantime set traps everywhere. Garage, house, kitchen, in cabinets, pantry etc.

You need to solve the issue of them getting into the home.

Bucket traps work great. I need to start mine up again. Right now I have one of those electronic traps that electrocutes them. It works well, but costs more than the bucket trap.

Fold a cover, Spacers, Scan Guage II, Weather Tech Vents, All weather floot mats, mod sideview towing mirrors, tow package, mod differential. LED back up lights, Flyzeye console/glove compartment lights, heavy duty farm seat covers, TSC bed mat.
Take a five gallon bucket, fill three quarters full of water, put a stick going fron ground up to the rim, empty a bag of David sunflower seeds over the water. Looks like a solid floor to mice and chipmunks. You can catch a bucket full.
