When I bought my 02, it had one programmed key fob and two spares. I went to add the spares and cannot get it into program mode.

After a bit of searching seems the fobs do not look like the "factory" fobs so I figure must be after market.

Any way to figure out what it is and how to program it?

The fobs have two black buttons, either of which lock OR unlock the doors.

About all I know except there is a pushbutton switch on thr dash with a red led that is on all the time. seems to be add on. just noticed it may blink when a fob is pressed.

I may have found programming instructions related to that FCC ID and associated alarm. Have to check it out in the morning. Apparently there is a valet switch that must be the dash thing I mentioned. Now I need a user manual. Odd that is not in all the other records they PO dumped on me.

So it may be a Delta Keyless Remote. Pretty simple, even for me. Just on/off the ignition 3 times, leave it on, the press the valet button. Using those instructions I found online, I can get two of the fobs to work, but not three, which is supposed to be the max number. Any two can be enabled, but the third one always fails, no matter how I shift them around. So it is not the fobs, but "something else".

I'd like to find out exactly what model this is and then try and get an owners manual. Any suggestions on where to look for the main box?

I took out the driver side dash cover and found what appears to be the control box. No ID markings on it or the sirenl. I'll post pics of what I found, hoping someone can point me to a user manual.

Remotes again just to make it easier for those wanting to assist. And because on other sites I people have complained about having to scroll back when I just add something.

I don't get the "shock sensor" thing. What is it for? It appears to be an add on. Oh, part of a theft alarm?

Anyway, where else would I look for the control box? All I've read says most likely in drivers foot well. Tracing the cables is always a last resort I guess.

Here are a couple more pics I took today. One is obviously the valet switch. The red ones I cannot identify, and I see nothing else under there that does not have Toyota or Denso on it.

Searching matches that style fob matches a "magnum 304 mhz" system. but that seems to be where It ends. anyone familiar with magnum units?

I still have no idea of the maker or have actual instructions, but finally dawned that the red led being lit means "in valet mode". First try with web instructions got it out of that mode. Now it chirps when the remote is used and the alarm can be armed.

I got the basics, but it still does some stuff I don't understand. Like, if I just use the door switch to lock the doors, then shut the door, the light does a fast blink for about 30 seconds or so, then a chirp and slow blink. Bothers me that I have not idea what that means.
