Just a quick update to anyone still on the fence.
After almost 2 years my seats still look brand new. Every person that owns a Tacoma and sees my truck asks how I got factory leather seats in mine, and every other person that doesn’t know Tacoma really didn’t have leather as an option until recently thinks they are factory leather.

I laugh out loud everytime I see a Tacoma with crappy seat covers that look like garbage in them.

With what I know now, I would have happily spent $2k on these seat covers when I bought my truck and never regretted it. The fact they were considerably less is a huge bonus. I’ve done quite a bit to my truck so far and this is hands down the best upgrade I’ve ever done to a vehicle.
Thanks again for making these available, I love them.

Can confirm. The seats on the 2019 Tacomas are the same as 2018!

Just went home to pick them up before a porch pirate gets to them. Never had a problem with them, but I don't want to start now.

Well, I got the Clazzios put in. Dear Lord, they were worth every god damn penny. I HAVE LEATHER!!! It's so nice, feels so good. I really worked on them, nipping and tucking. My arms and hands definitely got a workout, but it was worth it.

I opted to take my front seats out. It let me have really good access to everything. The tucking of the back flap of the cloth seats took me a few minutes to figure out because there was a slight disconnect with the instructions, but it worked out.. I will say to anyone on the fence. Do it and you won't regret it. Also, use the plastic smoothing/tuck tool that comes with the covers. it will save you a lot of grief in those hard to reach areas. Warm them up in the sun for about 20 minutes then work on them one by one. Be patient, be methodical. Instructions are pretty on point. Start with the bottoms, move to the back, then the headrest. Use that tool. It will save your fingers. Work that leather well. Get a nice tight stretch. You won't rip anything. They are tough.

Also, tomorrow, I'm going to condition them just to give them a nice shield of protection. Normally you can just use a warm wet cloth, but a good leather conditioner goes a long way. I'll post pics tomorrow. I am tired, but man I love it.

Thanks to Tyler Clazzio for the color corrections for me. Well done sir, well done.

Ordered some on Friday - showed 4 sets in stock on the website. They called me this morning explaining their inventory was wrong and it would be a custom order.

Glad they let me know, as it wasn’t really the combo I wanted, it was only convenient they had something close to what I wanted in stock.

    Now the waiting begins...:goingcrazy:

Ordered Black w/Dark Grey Leather Insert & Orange Stitching.

Nice write up and good pics, can I ask if this was your first time installing these seat covers and about how long for the install. This is my next planned "upgrade", but will be adding heat as well. I'll probably wait until it warms up in the spring, unless I can get access to a heated garage. I'm definitely waiting until its warmer to open up the dash and switch panel to add the heat switch. Thanks and good luck with the new covers, they do look like factory seats - well done! Bill, thanks for asking. So as I said in the write-up. I took the time to remove the front seats because, for me, I believed, and rightly so that it would give me better access to all the of the seat without having to pretzel myself and lets me see everything I needed to do instead of guessing sight unseen with my fingers. You can certainly do it that way, but I think it would have taken longer. And definitely, use the smoothing/detail tool provided because it really helped a lot.

Each front seat took me about ~45 minutes to do, but I'm a little meticulous in the stretching, line up, nipping, tucking, and the detail. The back seats were probably about 1.5 - 2.0 hrs because I opted to not take those seats out, so there is a lot of in/out and moving around. I will say it is a workout on the fingers, hands, arms and you will feel it afterward. But don't rush it and you will get a really nice result. I think these are better than factory.

Everyone who sees them thinks they are factory and how much it costs. I opted for no heat. Here in San Diego, it really isn't necessary and they are comfy. Good luck.

Thanks for the follow up, I'm taking the slow process of making the truck the way I want it. I definitely will be getting them and adding heat, as it will be much appreciated here in New England. Not sure if I'll be pulling the front seats or not, but it will probably make running the seat heater switch and wires easier. I already have the heaters/ switch and a new Meso switch panel, just a matter of planning out the process - Thanks again Bill in MA

Pull the seats out of the front. Five minutes tops, 4 bolts and two wire connections. My son and I did his dcsb in 3 hours, looks factory and the back seat was a breeze. I learned a few tricks and was able to really tuck the draw string cord into the seat grove for a more factory look.

Thanks - I was thinking of taking the seats out, when opening up the dash, to swap out the newer Meso panel I bought, to accommodate the seat heater switch. It would probably be best to to take care of the front seats and heaters, while they're out. I can always take care of the rears separately. I'd be doing the entire job solo, so I'm really trying to take a planned approach to it, since I can't really leave my truck apart to get to it when I can. If all goes well and I don't break anything along the way, I'd like to get the switch, panel and front seats done in one day. Then I could finish the rear seats later....Atleast that's my way of thinking right now - Thanks Bill in MA

My plan was to do the driver's seat first. That way, if I had to stop, I wasn't out my truck to use. Then I could tackle the passenger and the rears at my leisure, but fortunately, nothing like that happened and I knocked it out in a few hours.
