Hey guys! How is everyone liking their skid plate? Thinking about ordering soon for my 2018 TRD sport. Does anyone have any pics on 2018 model and does the plate have to be removed for oil changes?

Anyone actually hit anything with their skids yet? I did on mine and it popped off the nuts the bolts go thru. They are spot welded onto a very then flange/tab. Those flanges are bent now as well. I guess I hit pretty hard but I'm not sure if this is a good design or bad? It seems if the skid was attached to something more solid it might hold up a little better. Or maybe the give is good lol. Like a crumple zone.

Arrgh! Missed the 25% off Black Friday deal I guess. Just ordered one and they look awesome. My question is: does anyone have more pics of this plate on a 2nd gen front bumper pre facelift? I've seen a few pics but really don't have a great idea on how far up the front bumper lip this will sit on my 2007.

What's the lead time on these? Thinking of picking one up in lieu of TRD. Not for offroading in my case, just for random road debris, e.g. the baseball sized cinderblock fragment that I got hit with on the freeway the other day

    Also first post ftw

Got mine installed! Thanks Matt. Also, just as a tip for someone; I did remove the flimsy stock skid pan, tossed it, and then installed this. I utilized all of the washers, and the lock nuts as well as spacers for the front and the new plate seems to have just the right amount of gap. Seems to line up well though I feel like there is a very slight difference on the drivers side which I think I can alleviate by loosening and re tightening all four screws/bolts while aligning the plate better. Splitting hairs really though. It's no more than a millimeter off at best. Top notch product, and at 26 lbs, it's got some heft. Just the right amount. Also, dammit if I don't want a tow hook now.
