Adding a dual battery system to prep for a winter camping trip through the southwest between Cali and Texas and back over the holiday, going to use it to power up a portable 12v forced air vented diesel heater unit to keep the RTT toasty when out of the sleeping bag.

My heater is similar to this- be sure to get one with the mufflers if you pick one up:https://www.amazon.com/diesel-Heate...sel+heater&dpPl=1&dpID=51W7Y5Ct0gL&ref=plSrch

Install was ok, Nothing wanted to line up perfect so a lot of pushing and pulling. And the roof has rubber tape over the holes, so I just cut enough room in the tape to let the screw go in, It's pretty sealed up it has weather stripping on the rear and a huge base plate thing to seal. But I am going to dab a little silicone on there.

    Doing well, sir.

    Thanks for asking.

Hope all is well with you, the family and Mr Riley.

i'm up early this morning and testing the waters with my back. Took the last couple days off, doing a shift swap with a coworker. I was hoping to let the steroids and other meds kick in and get this flair up under control. Happens every couple years, it seems. For whatever reason this time around the relief has been a bit slower.

I'm grateful for the heated seat covers right about now....that heat is therapeutic. I'm thinking about going a step further and getting a full on medical cover that conforms a bit better, heats & massages. I haven't shopped around but know they are out there.

My Tacoma is in serious need of a wash and wax. Weather has been poor lately and then this last week the back thing showed up again.

All will be well.....time to grab another cup of coffee. :)

Like that back bumper. Able to still use the factory receiver hitch.

Very intrigued - liking the lower profile. Some others are back and forth with too much, and meh. Looks like a solid compromise. Interested to follow and maybe pilot in spring..

I'd like to get these, but it seems like the 2017+ option is not available? Kind of a shame, the price is great.

    I got over it. :p

The sad part is that I always read the instructions for anything I buy, no matter how stupidly simple. I TRIED reading the 'Coma owners manual, but it was pretty tough to get through considering it's one manual for a bunch of different models.

I still wouldn't mind having the switch plate I mentioned. I could think of some other uses.
