I have a '19 Tacoma with JBL Premium. For the first week my phone worked correctly with the Entune system - phone calls and streaming music worked as expected. In the past 2 weeks my iPhone XS Max loses it pairing for the audio only - the phone still connects and workls as expected. I've tried turning Bluetooth off/on and connecting the audio via Entune with no luck. The only thing that works is pairing / unpairing the phone with the truck. This is a pain in the ass as you lose your pre-programmed buttons on the home page and it usually crops up at an inconvenient time to fix - like while driving. Also the pairing / unpairing is not a foolproof fix. Sometime when doing this the audio says its connected via bluetooth and what you have playing on the phone appears on the screen but the audio only comes out of the phone's speaker not the car. I've also noticed that when I pair my phone with the truck the bluetooth settings shows it as "Toyota Tacoma" but when it is not working it says "Car Accessory"Is Entune really this fragile or am I missing something obvious?

Same problems here. Been searching for a fix for a while. Mine also drops during phone calls. Seems like it is an apple issue from what I can tell, but I haven't found a fix that works yet - tried almost every suggestion i've been able to find.
