Your topper is exactly what I'm looking for. If there's an opportunity to take it off your hands, let me know.

Just wish they actually fit tacomas instead of the one size fits all approach

The AluCab for 3rd gen Tacomas was designed specifically for 3rd gen Tacomas. AluCab shipped a Taco bed to their factory in South Africa and designed the canopy for it.

Can you confirm there's a version that fits better than this?

    1. I don't know what specific fitment issues you have/see.
    2. The canopy was designed for the 3rd gen, not the 2nd gen. To make them work for the 2nd gen the canopies had new rear doors made (flat instead of curved - to match the flat tailgate instead of 3rd gen's curved one). I don't know whether any other changes were made, but I'm guessing not.
    3. I have a 3rd gen so I can't confirm anything for your 2nd gen.

My canopy covers more of the bedsides than yours, but that's all I can say there.

I have a third. The exposed bedsides is my concern. The third gen beds are narrower?

Any photos on how those are attached to the shell? I want to get them but they're only available with solid windoors which I dont want so I was thinking about building one myself, but not sure how yet.

They're available from ARE with the glass windoors... This is my rig:

You can see the rearmost mount below. They connect to 2 supports up through the ceiling and bolt to the base of the shell under the window:

Thats a great looking truck. I was trying to find more info on those campers. Found the website for trailers... Do they not offer them any longer?

Their internet presence is hard to find. It takes a lot of searching to find Access Mfg's website: http://tradesmantrucktops.com/ They have an order form on their website, but just use it to get some ideas, then start an email conversation with them to begin working on a configuration.

Here's mine. Very happy with it so far!

Thanks! Yeah their internet presence is weak. As @BearWithMe said the best thing to do is to start a conversation with them about what you're looking for. If it can be made out of aluminum they'll do it!

I like the black along the bottom, if you don't mind me asking what accessories did you get and how much does it run?
