Finally pulling the trigger on my dash cam! Couple questions? Why did you get the spy tech hard wire kit rather than the rexing one since they cost the same? Did a data card come included? 64G? Im going to pull directly from battery since I already have a wire ran through the firewall so I dont need a AAF right? Hope all is well my man!

    Very belated thank you!!
Hey man. Sorry for the late reply. I'm not on here enough anymore. I'm surprised you didn't text me haha. So when I bought mine rexing didn't offer a hardwire kit. I'm sure it's relatively the same thing though so should work great. As far as SD card I use a 64 GB but make sure you get what's called a high endurance SD card. You'll pay a little more but won't have to replace it. Due to the amount of data getting processed by that card it causes a normal one to crash after about 2 months, but the high endurance is made for repetitive processing like a dash cam. If you're going to run straight from the battery be sure you have a fuse inline to protect from shorts. Things are great man. Georgia is awesome and I travel quite often for work but I enjoy it! I see a lot more built Tacomas this way :D Hope you're doing well also!

Nice! Waco is an awesome place. I've only been there a few times. I work in Kennesaw, GA at Systems Atlanta. We make hardware, software, and provide support for information display systems for all the Army, Air Force, and some FAA ATC facilities.
Hey buddy! Yea I'm getting the itch. I'm thinking of a 4runner next though, but building it up similar like my Tacoma was. How's things going?

Can’t fault you with that... those 4Runners are slick. I’m trying to convince my wife she’d like one but she loves her Rav too much I think.

Going good here, been crazy busy at work but am just finishing off a 2 week trip in Maui. Glad to have the downtime but not looking forward to getting back to reality. How about you? Ever miss Alaska.... I’d imagine you don’t miss it too much in winter haha

Nice! I've never been to Maui, but would definitely love to go one day. I miss the people but not the place. Especially with their most recent earthquake prone winter haha. We love it here in Woodstock. Nice people, close to family, and the town is just big enough to have fun but not big enough to where you're always running into the same people. It's also nice to finally have a true sense of home.

What's up buddy! Actually not too much. I've been busy working and it's just a lease I don't have many plans for it. I tinted the windows, added window visors, and installed a built in factory looking garage door opener. That's really it. My plan the entire time though with this was to lease this for three years and then lease a 4runner with the intent to buy out afterwards. The 4runner I plan on building out like I did my Tacoma. What have you been up to with yours? What are the latest "everybody has to have" mods haha
