Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Sorry to not provide an exact answer, but there are numerous options your wiring harness includes but were not built into your truck. Sometimes they don’t require software and you can get lucky and just add them. Otherwise, don’t worry about a loose plug like this unless you took everything apart and then found one hanging afterwards.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
That's where you plug in the OEM engine bay cleaner. Give it a shot!

The Toyota electrical service manual will provide exactly what is that harness for. Perhaps if you talk to a Toyota master mechanic will confirm what it is.

It’s the connector for the oscillation overthtuster; the newer models now use a flux capacitor.

    ...Sorry, I had to

Isn't that the connection for the 2016+ blinker fluid regulation system (BFRS)?

It's to connect the transmission shifting logic, otherwise the transmission holds gears to long, lurches and doesn't perform will in cruise control up hills.

No, just one connector for fogs.
You need a switch (or stalk) a relay and a harness up front. Nitori did a great write up on this.
