Yes, it was the same one. My original belt we swapped back in on 70.

You better hang that shit on the wall, or make some sorta scrap art out of it. You have been on borrowed for at least a year. That thing came out of retirement to save the day on that trip and went through a pretty exciting year that included a frame swap and a lot of other shit. That belt is a collector's item, and that experience is why I carry a brand new belt and 3 spare pulleys with me.

Went to central Pa with a couple of my customers- they’ve been asking me for a while to come out with them. We hit the “Reading Famous Outdoors” which is s fancy way of saying “the abandoned coal areas in St. Clair Pa”

Basically this is the same as AOAA with no gates... or some gates kinda.

Killed a Sunday. Got 12.89MPG’s and went 345.1 miles. Still had over 6 gallons in the tank so I should be able to easily hit +400 miles a stretch. Light comes on around 310 miles and it’s pretty distracting.

Next up is brakes and a bedrug.

That's what I thought I saw on their website. I think 130$ for the year. Might be worth it if it's open weekdays and I could just go hammer some easy trails alone.

Got home today & finally put a fastener on my rattling catalytic converter heat shield.

Finally got annoying enough.

Also got a couple clicks of adjustment on the rear drums... I really need to replace both the drums and the adjuster on the drivers side.
Ideally do that with the WA14 caliper mod on the front.

 

I’m so disappointed with my stopping ability.

 

I think the forerunner break mod is the way to alleviate that. I’m going to try it. I’ll let you know how it works out

 

I think so too. I was on the fence about the big brake kit that works with 16” wheels but from what I’ve seen, the rear disc conversion needs 17” wheels, so I’ll revisit the whole idea when I need new tires. I’d hate to buy the bbk for 16” wheels, only to have to swap to 17” wheels anyway.
