Anyone know the size and thread pitch for the holes in the frame for the coilover reservoir mounting brackets? I've tried 4 different fasteners. M10x1.5 - didn't fit, M10x1.25 - didn't fit, 3/8x16 - didn't fit, 3/8x24 - didn't fit. Every hole I've found on the Tacoma is metric, but lowes doesn't carry anything M9 if there even is an M9. M8 is too small, M10 is too big. I've serched the forum, and google nobody lists it anywhere. Last day off the rest of the year and I've already lost 3 hours for some stupid bolts.

 

It’s definitely metric. If you have a ace true value close to you they have a way better choice for metric hardware. If you still haven’t figured out the pitch by tomorrow shoot me a pm or text and I’ll check the ones I have at the shop for size and pitch

 

Thanks, It's the same holes for the sway bar, which internets say is M10x1.25. But I removed my sway bar when I bought the new truck in april this year and reinstalled it on my old 2nd gen. M10x1.25 was among the sizes I tried but it didn't seem to fit.

 

Here's a fun fact, unless someone know otherwise, I just replaced all the bolts on the Camburg kit after the lower uniball adapter bolt broke, Camburg charges $50 a bolt. Seemed a little pricey at the time. Just for shits n giggles I went to see if could source some, the only place I found for a 5/8s airframe bolt was $38 per bolt! It actually looked different than the Camburg ones, maybe anodized differently or something.

If it truly is the same, anyone wanna chip in some cash and we can buy 50 at $8 a bolt LOL

For the record I did buy all new bolts from Camburg, just wanted to see if I could buy some spares on the cheap.

Hmmm... seems it is M10x1.25 afterall. I had to chase the threads out and they finally threaded in. Amazing even in southern CA, there was a bit of rust buildup in the threads from a few months. Thanks anyways, Jason

No biggie brother, I just replaced them, should be good for a bit. I'm gonna try to source a set. I just wanna make sure I'm buying the right type (metal and strength and all that), I'm no metallurgist by any means, so google is my friend lol

I did the same research. Found a cheaper one but they were still close to 30 each. If I remember. I have it saved at home in my bookmarks.
