Was hoping to get some stats from everyone on the forum to help better compare MPG. I've noticed my MPG hasn't been what it used to be on the interstate. Thought that maybe getting some good comparisons from everyone would help paint a better picture.

    2017 TRD OR
    Tire Weight: 40.8 lbs
    Lift Size: 2"
    Interstate 75 mph = 15 MPG
    Highway 60 mph = 21 MPG
    City/Highway = 18 MPG

While overall and unsprung weight has a big impact on efficiency, the greatest variable is your driving habits and environmental factors, such as location and time of year.
    Those cannot be charted.
If you are "lately" seeing an mpg loss, that's probably due to winter gas. That can account for up to 10% of your mpg.
Big ol tires and hanging all kinds of weight will drop it another 25%.
But, a lot of that can be made back up by driving smooth and slower.

    Stock with tonneau cover

    Highway 82 mph
16.5 mpg (most recent run from Boerne Texas to Almost Fort Stockton on I -10

Two lane 60 mph mixed country
23 mpg the truck thrives at the 45-60 mpg cruise speeds.

Curvy 30 mph two lane country 26 mpg the truck does even better at lower cruise speeds.

Mixed in town and freeway, local interstate 19-20 mpg.

Basically speed and stop and go kills mpg. Duh.

Stock SR5 - my roof rack bars are often on
    80 mph ~ 19.5-20 mpg
69 mph ~ 24-25 mpg (I often cruise at this speed on the freeway)
    60 mph ~ 27-30 mpg
    around town ~ 15-16 mpg

~ = on average for me

EDIT: tires: firestone destination LE - 31lbs/tire
    no lift

I can average 15 to 15.5 mpg for my work week. I drop my kid off at school which is riddled with stop signs for 10 miles round trip. And my 12 mile commute to work is 50/50 highway/city.

    If I’m on a backroad I can get 20 cruising at 55-60.

2.5 inch lift, winch bumper, full aluminum skids and a diamond back tonneau are on the mod list for 2019 so I’m sure I’ll be down to about 13-14. Then time to regear.
