whats up fellow Toyota owners, lovers, enthusiasts! Love the detailed information, insight and conversation this forum provides. No where else can so many folks share the builds, mods and improvements made to these beautiful machines.

Iv owned Toyota’s for a number of years, and the one thing that sets them apart is pure reliability and simplicity. My first Toyota, 1992 extended cab 22re pickup lasted me 468xxx miles until it burned oil, but still drove like a champ. Moved to a 1991 4Runner with the 3.0....it needed a rebuild but it was solid for another 200,000 of commuting and adventures. In the late summer of 2017 I purchased my 2017 Tacoma sport access cab, with the 6 speed manual. Iv never questioned the decision since. I wanted the 3rd gen platform, without the 4 doors, and without the electronic bells and whistles provided in other trim packages. It’s 98% stock, other then a trd intake filter and the removal of the plastic front wind flap thing. It takes me where I need to go and beyond. I want to be part of a community that provides write ups on maintain, upgrading and solving possible issues on these new machines. A shop manual is floating around here but I haven’t been able to acquire it. I have ideas and thoughts about retrofitting stock items for a rig that sets it apart from others on the road. I believe in adding or modifying the Tacoma to fit ones needs, but maintain that beautiful factory look as much as possible. I look forward to the information that is currently provided, and new topics that will arise. Hope you all are loving your rigs as much as I do! Thanks,

I like my Toyotas, but I never say 'for life' regarding vehicles. ;)
