    Aloha,

Planning on doing a 6" lift in the next year so I'm doing my research now. Seems like 4wheelparts only holds Procomp drop bracket lifts. Is that true?

Trying to stay away from 20" rims with stretched tires and want to go with more side wall but 33" tires. I think I gotta get 18" rims or use spacers. Can anyone show pics of 18" rims on 33s and a 6" lift?

How's the install at 4wheelparts? Are they good about getting it done on time and how long does it take?

Anyone ended up with driveline vibrations? Does 4wheelparts fix them?

    Mahalo for any info.

Going with a 6in lift requires cutting into the cross member so you have to be absolutely sure you want to do this.

If you keep the part they cut out you can always weld it back in. Otherwise you could always fab a part to be welded in.

I never could understand how people get nervous about a drop bracket lift from a reputable company that offers a life time warranty, like procomp, but they're down to swap out a needle bearing for a bushing that could potentially ruin your entire front differential and fuck the transfer case/transmission. No make sense to me.

Agreed. If your just looking to clear 33’s a 2.5in lift will clear those

Yeah that's what I've been seeing on this website but I'm looking for the height and rather do 33s instead of 35s for now. Maybe in a few years I'll regear and swap to a single piece drive shaft but for now 33s should do the job.

I had my DB lift (RCD) installed by Maui Off-Road in Waipio Gentry. The work they did was great and have had no problems with it. It's a 5 inch as opposed to a 6 inch, but very similar suspension components (although I do not think that DB lift is available for the 3rd gen). I assume they offer Fabtech or RC as well given that the other store you mentioned usually pushes ProComp since are affiliated with the brand.

I had this lift done before I knew there were other options (e.g. reputable members on the forum referenced in other threads), but just another option for you to consider.
