Would love the opportunity to take advantage of the sale to buy a handheld (I have the dongle and want to keep it), but they weren't available in the last sale. I don't mind waiting for the actual handheld though.

Will there be a less expensive upgrade path for exchanging dongles or software-only for a new handheld? Has something like that already been mentioned in the past?

I drive 120 miles per day, 5 days a week. 1/2 of it is interstate miles with tons of 4th gear downshifts that hold forever I'm down to test for you on my 2019. I was thinking about pulling the trigger on this anyway.

IIRC - When you are adding the handheld then there is added cost for the hardware.

Pretty much all highway in Montana so everywhere outside of the city is good testing grounds. County roads are normally 70 mph and interstate is 80 mph. I’m driving county roads daily.

I’m on 1.04 right now with armor, 32” tires.

please please please give us a way to fine tune the shift points (and gearing/tire changes). I'd hate to have to bug someone for a bunch of minor changes until I'm happy.
    Otherwise I'm happy to test.
62 miles every day. Half med-heavy highway traffic. Half light highway traffic. I keep it in S4 w/o ECT until traffic opens up and I can maintain at least 70mph. Then it's S5 w/o ECT.

    Stock gearing
    33s
    2017 B04

I purchased a copy of OV but haven't installed yet.

Yes, having the ability to fine tune for individual needs/scenarios would be the absolute ideal state!
...Though I also get that this has already probably evolved beyond what Matt originally intended, and given the complexity of the tables, etc, it's pretty unlikely.

    Still, we can dream, right?!

Lol, good point, I meant more of the drive is flat-ish. No rolling hills. I roll down to work and rev slightly high on the way home for the most part. There's two hills on my drive where it flares a bit.

We do the 100 mile trip up to Shuteye peak and going to do some 4lo crawling up on the trail. Then come back if the same day if you need logs like that. 75 miles of highway so 150 miles highway round trip for the highway travel. That'll be Saturday.

    2016 Tacoma w/o TSB 4.30 gears 34s and 2018 Tacoma w/ TSB 3.90 gears 33s

That actually sounds similar to my commute. A little easy one way, a little annoying the other!

@OVTune I got a 40 mile round trip daily going over a 2,000 foot pass twice. got 4B04, 91 octane, 4.88s and 35s. I test the shifting abilities of my truck daily. lol

Same exact problem. Less pronounced on 1.04 91 but still there. Toyota wants to see the truck during the normal biz week to think about doing the tsb!!

So, 70 mile test. Video and info in a moment. images are start / end mileage.

Shift status (6th) even with varying throttle position. 95+% of my drive was in 6th gear only, with a few dips to 5th when going up hill.
This was not flat land this was up and down hills (in the video).
about 2:45 minute mark is a a pretty long uphill

    Please ignore my dusty dash!
