2018 JBL sound upgrade help

    none so far
    so I dont "hate" the 7" non jbl system in new truck I just picked up, but defintaly feel it could benefit from some speaker upgrades. been looking at a component speaker system, and the JL stealthbox. I'm not unhappy with the stock head unit interface, but would be open to upgrading the head unit so long as I can keep the functionality of all my steering wheel/voice controls etc etc if its going to make getting good sound from components and subs easier. anything out there that isnt $500+ for a head unit that does that? been reading about bass rolloff, and such. just kinda trying to gather good info on which directions to go. thoughts? suggestions? thanks
