That reservoir would certainly be in the way of the side straps.

It would be better if you could move the reservoir, is that possible?

It might be possible to move the reservoir. The reservoir hose for these shocks are fairly short and also thicker than most shocks. This limits me on where I can move it to. I have seen another bumper that has a strap with an integrated reservoir mount but it is the wrong direction. It looks like I would have to fab something up either way. Below is a picture (from Bilstein) that shows the entire shock. Thanks for the reply.

BTW I can't wait to get my sliders.

Did you go with a short relocation somewhere else on the bumper or a long relocation elsewhere on the truck?

On the gen 3 Tacoma front bumper, you have to relocate the solenoid. It is pretty straight forward and I can show you how we have done it if needs be.

Thanks! Just wanted to make sure I didn’t need to order a relocation kit too. If I’m too dumb to figure it out I’ll be in contact

Appreciate all the feedback regarding the Mobtown Bumper, I was finally able to pick it up from powder coating today.

Good news everyone. Just got my bumper on and I’m happy to say it went very smooth. I was a little hesitant about notching my reservoir brackets for my Kings, so I hammered the front notch flat and then drilled through them for the strap bolt. This went pretty well and left a lot of material behind which made me warm on the inside. Also the tall front hoop doesn’t seem to interfere with the Toyota safety sense radar in the front grill so that’s nice as well. Attached some pictures that you guys might find helpful if you have the same suspension setup. 10/10 will be back when it comes time for skid plates.

@Joe-pro-pistachio Nice work on making the side straps work with the resi brackets. I was wondering if that was gonna be an issue. Did the lower frame brace brackets not work out? Asking since I didn’t see them in the first pic.
    Looks great all around!

... lower frame brackets? Missed that step I guess but didn’t have any big spare parts left over so maybe. I didn’t have the factory skid on so maybe that’s why it looks funky?

Do you know if anyone has paint-matched powder coated one of these? Or paint-matched in general?

One customer with a 4runner did research and provided his own powder for color matched sliders. It ended up being pretty expensive and the color wasn't the greatest.

Buddy at work tried the same thing - the sand is considerably browner than his truck and looks like shit. To be fair, I think having all color matched parts in general looks horrendous.

I saw a Tacoma that had an ARB bumper that was painted MGM same as the truck. It looked cool, but that was painted not powder coated. It'd hurt more if the paint on a plate bumper got messed up by hitting stuff compared to lack powder coat, but I'm not going to powder coat my bed panels even though I messed one of those up. There's a bunch of Australian trucks that have paint matched bumpers. Looks neat.
