I like the crown vic steelies too much to give up on them just yet. I originally went with 25mm to clear the cobra brakes and to make sure that when I get the cobra “r” brembo calipers I would definitely have enough room... well I probably over-did it. 25mm equates to about a 1” spacer which has studs pressed into it and bolts to the hub’s studs. I have decided to go down to a 1/2” spacer and use longer studs on the hub. Fingers crossed.

Parts arrived. I had to bring the hubs to work to enlarge and drill out the holes to 39/64. Once that was done I pressed in the new longer ARP wheel studs. the job is done and the Daddywagon is back on the road. My coworker sent me a link to Jalopnik Radwood Philadelphia, which is today and I am thinking about attending. It’s basically a show for 80’s and 90’s cars. We’ll see.

It’d be sweet if they wrote up an article on you, they’ve been talking about finding the coolest car there for weeks

Haha! That would’ve been great except for the fact that I didn’t make it there! Haha Lol! I was in my way and I was doing my usual racecar passing wannabe racecar driver impression when something started grinding. It would grind as I released the clutch. Starter gear, or maybe throwout bearing. Rather than risk catastrophic failure I nursed the Daddywagon back home.

I think if I could have a sign made up I would have a custom windshield sun shade made up... technical stats, maybe one or two pictures. Just arrive at show and unfold. Bam!

I’m so glad I’m not your neighbor. I’d be knocking on your door every day with beer and a wrench asking to touch it. Love this build man.

I’m here! I’m here! Thanks for the kind words! Hopefully more vids to come. Right now I need to buy a starter for the car. Before the next season I want air conditioning and the brembo front brakes.

I would've thought he's too busy to post since he's enjoying this car!

Not mine but very awesome! I like the headliner because I need one myself very badly. Haha! The hitch ball on the bumper is similar to mine as well. I actually want to fabricate a hitch receiver for the wagon! Maybe the smaller 1 & 1/4” receiver for bike racks and such!

You are mostly right. It never ends to be honest with you. I drive it and wear and tear has me needing to fix something. Add to that all the “want” things I need to modify, add or repair! Currently I need a starter.

The engine doesn’t fit and rubs against the hood. Craigslist to the rescue!!

It isn’t mounted yet in the above pictures. I still have to cut the hole in the hood. I also have to get flange nuts to mount and drill holes for the mounting studs.
