Hmm not sure that's worth it for the once or twice I would use it. I think I'd rather go to the outer banks, there are islands you take a ferry out to and basically have the island to yourself.

Yea I’m assuming they are upping the one time pass fee too. So it could be worth it if it’s 45-50 bucks for a day pass now.

    Already grabbed mine. thanks!

Anybody know if you can use the 2019 pass now until the end of the year? I doubt there will be anyone at the entrance anyway. I'm hoping to take some visiting family for a beach cruise over Christmas weekend.

I personally don't like Freeman park, rather go to fort fisher. It is too crowded for this old man at FP. I have have 100 yards between me and the next person at FF. And the passes are way cheaper.

Just wish that I could camp on there.

Someone at my work said the same thing. Two "Probablys" are good enough for me. Thanks!

I didn't even know Fort Fisher had a off-road area. Camping is my main reason for the Freeman Park pass though. Other than taking a boat to Masonboro, there aren't many other local places to camp in nature.

Yeah, there is a about a four mile stretch of beach that you can drive on. The pass is only like $35 I think for an annual pass.

Where in Wilmington can one get tires mounted on the cheapish but reliable. Ordered online and time to get them mounted. Plus the fiance blew a tire coming home last night after work. Tore the side wall out of it by running something over, need to replace it while at it.
    Thanks, Happy New Year!

Around Raleigh there are many small Mexican tire shops. Don't know if there is similar down there but they charge 5-15pesos per tire.

Blacks is where the city takes their vehicles. I was just seeing who was reliable and wont break the bank since I am not buying tires from them, just mount and balance.
I'll have to look at porters neck also.
