    You got any wheel spacers?

I've got the same rims, but with my new OME lift and LR UCA, it's gonna be close as to whether or not i need a spacer.

I am seeing about 15-16mpg (assuming my math is correct)

I have a full OME lift and SpiderTraxx spacers to go with my 5 255/85-16 Cooper ST Maxx (spare is mounted on bed rack)

did you happen to do the LR UCAs? I went with the full OME with 887, Dakars, and LR UCAs. I've seen some go with spacers for 255s and others without. I know it depends on the wheel, but i'd like to go without spacers if i could. Just trying to find someone with the exact set up i have.

Can you fit a full size spare under the truck?

Yes, 887, full Dakar, Wheelers super bumpstops with u-bolt flip and SpiderTraxx spacers on stock TRD wheels

I went with the spacers for the slightly wider stance.

I've been running 255/75/17/C BFG KO2s for a month now. Here is some information I will share:

    The facts:
    - 2007 Access Cab V6 4WD w/ shell and protective bed mat, no steel or wheel accessories, 2017 TRD Pro Shocks, All-Pro 3" leaf packs, 5/8" front spacers
    - Replaced 285/75/16/E BFG KO2s
    - I used OEM 17" 4Runner Trail Edition alloys (17" x 7"/4.5") to replace the 16" aftermarket alloys that were wider and had about 0.8" additional offset (didn't know brand)
    - Zero rubbing
    - My MPG went from ~14/15 to between 18.5 and 18.9 (measured 3 times so far)
    - I run the 255s at about 34 PSI, previous 285s at 35 to 40 PSI
    - Added a used 255/75 Wrangler spare, which fit in the stock location with about 0.8" clearance from the exhaust (I have a Flowmaster, but original hangers)
    - To get the spare to fit, I used a T-bolt hose clamp to keep the exhaust in place on the last hanger bushing, it's a clean 1" distance from the tire; without a mod like this, it would have rubbed
    - I paid $801.62 for all 4 tires during the Discount Tires $100 off event before Black Friday, and bartered for free mounting by trading the old tires off the 4Runner wheels I purchased with a non-franchise tire shop
    - No snow, sand or mud experience yet

    The feels:
    - The ride improvement is unreal, E-rated tires are history for my truck; I didn't know how sensitive I was to a crappy street ride
    - Went from 24/7 dirt road, feeling every nook and crack, to much more SUV-like; you still feel the road like a truck does, but less annoying
    - There is still that feint KO2 wub wub from the aggressive tread blocks (expected), but it is quieter
    - The smaller tires and 15mm reduced offset from 4Runner wheels looks a bit odd at first; it's much closer to a stock look
    - There is a noticeably smoother ride off road, but anything exceeding dirt road bumpiness will still demand a good suspension system

    :)

I'm considering 235/75-17 for my next set. Most likely Michelins as I don't do the off-road thing. The 245/75-17 would have been an option but they're only available in an LT E-rated. Running TRD Sema wheels, 1" farther out than stock with 265's, I'd like to bring the tires in a little behind the mud flaps.

Currently have 265/75r16 Ko2 and looking at the 255/85r16. I would rather not change rims as I like the stock aluminum ones but for that overall diameter and width does anyone have thoughts/recommendation on a 17" wheel? Is it worth the expense of new wheels? I had looked at a 245 in a 17 but really prefer the 255. thanks,

I ran the 235/85r16s Toyo AT II for a while and they were really stiff for the Tacoma. No advice on the 17" but maybe similar. The tire was great but just a little too narrow for me. If I was stock height it would have been better but with a lift it just looks like too little a tire

Edit: I ran the calculator and with a stock truck I bet that would be a great size!

Put the skinnies on tonight. I was going to wait but thought I should run them a little bit to be sure there aren't any problems with them. 20190103_174441.jpgOne from the front. It's dark out so pics from the garage.20190103_174501.jpg
