TRD Pro Grille OEM Purchase Help

    I am wanting to get the Pro Grille for my 2018 TRD Sport. Talking to the vendor they are saying they won't verify modifications and only what came on my vehicle. So I am trying to determine if these part numbers are the right ones to purchase the grille. Thanks in advance.

    P.S. I did check the other thread but the part numbers listed are discontinued

    That grille part number is the one that says it is discontinued and not for sale.

    I was just showing you that it is not discontinued. I went OEM because over time in the sun better quality will hold up.

    Just one man's opinion: I went with a knockoff and it's been flawless. Install was easy, no issues with garnish or sensor warnings. For a piece of plastic, I think youdybw just fine going with a knockoff. Amazon, CaliRaised, etc make some for 2018's. Just as long as you specify that you're buying a 2018 that comes with the removable garnish cover you should be fine.

    My dad always said to me growing up that it only costs a few cents more to go first class. Yes it's no longer cents but dollars but the point still holds.

    So I can confirm 53101-04050-C0 is the part number for the full Grille assembly that comes on a Black TRD Pro. It has the painted black surround on it. Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the insert from the assembly and just use it instead of the full assembly?

    You are wrong. Or the salesman is wrong. That is just the painted surround. No way would Toyota sell the entire thing for $140.00. Also someone else on the forum made the same mistake not long ago and ordered it thinking it was the grill. It was not. The numbers I posted are the correct numbers for the 2018-2019 grill

    The reason the correct part number is coming up not for sale is because everybody and their brother was buying them. The grill was meant for the Pro and now you need a pro VIN to order. Unless you pay the premium and order off Ebay. If you add up the grill, garnish, nuts, and shipping the price on Ebay is only a bit more for OEM. If you want OEM you need to PAY. or go aftermarket.
