    I would get the one that has a working strength equal to two times the weight of the truck.

    I use a 14' polyester 3/4" rope with hooks on each end so it has a stretch factor to it.

    Is this for towing? Or for recovery?

    If its for recovery - DO NOT GET HOOKS on the ends.

    Get a strap 2x the weight of the vehicle... The higher rating/bigger the better.

    Thread revival... I need to equip the Taco with a snatch strap, and found this thread. Good call on the 'No Hooks'
    Anyone have a recommendation for a decent strap available at Autozone, Advance Auto, Pep boys, etc? (online also, if shipping reasonable)
