Differential lock indicator won't turn off!

    Leer topper, Front Runner Slimline II, CVT tent, ARB diff breather kit, secondary breather, trailer plug relocation, Cali Rasied bed stiffners
    I have a TRD off road 2nd gen tacoma. I put the truck in 4 lo and locked the rear diff, but I cannot get the indicator light to turn off after I try to put it back in H2. please help!!! I followed the owners manual but it's not working.

    Go back into 4Lo and drive slowly in an S shaped pattern,forward, then backward if needed.

    Form follows function
    Rear locker + 4lo -> drive slowly a few feet -> turn off rear locker (you might hear it and you’ll see the light come off) -> drive a few feet then stop -> put in neutral-> turn switch to 4hi -> put in drive -> drive a few feet -> turn switch to 2hi

    never mind....I got it! It needed to be back up a little and as it hit a little bump, it disengaged. Hope this helps someone out there!
