    Bigger pistons
    Bigger/thicker rotors
    Same pads

    Short of BBK ($$$) I think it’s the best brake upgrade we can do. I might do the rear disc conversion later on. I think @Torspd has had the rear disc setup since forever.

    I think you have to run 17” in order to clear the calipers.

    I have the hydraulic brake booster on my truck. My brakes feel great stock as @loginfailed can attest to since he has driven it. I wonder if the bigger brakes will even work on my truck.

    They will fit. The calipers, dust shields and rotors are direct swap.

    The pads are the same size, but more squeeze power from the bigger calipers should help a lot. Plus since the rotors diameter is bigger the squeeze happens further out from the hub.

    One problem I currently have is that the rotors are pulsating a bit. I think the beefier rotors will be less warpage prone.

    On paper is makes a lot of sense.

    Which master cylinder is the bolt on swap? Sequoia maybe?

    I would be interested in the rear disk setup. I have no idea why Toyota still insists on rear drums.
