Did some work on my sleeping platform today. Wanted to redo it so I didn't have a center support which makes storing my kayak paddles much easier.

Got all my pieces cut and fit in for the sleeping platform. When and got paint this morning and got the first coat on before lunch. All parts should be painted and dried by Monday so I can install them. Came up with a pretty slick way to support the center piece of plywood without having a center support that rest on the truck bed. I'll share more once I get it all intalled

Has the paint/primer held up? How many cans did you use?

The sleeping platform is done and installed. Over all I'm very happy with the design and function of the bed. What i like about this design is its super easy to remove as needed. There is no center support touching the bed floor which leaves a lot of room under for storage. A few things I want to change/add are as follows
    :
    1) Drill hole or add handle to making lifting the platform sections up easier for access to back of the truck bed (right now with the flat surface its hard to grab hold of the plywood)
    2) When not using the full platform I need to come up with a way to store it in the rear of the bed like a 1/4 platform. I want to stack the sheet and lock them in place at the rear of the truck
    3) If i start to see that the middle section of platform sags with just one support I will make another and install it (just drops in place so very easy to add later)

Had some time to install the @RedlineTuning hood struts I received a few weeks ago. Install was very easy and the directions were spot on. Easy mod that all trucks should have.

LED lights installed in the camper shell, just used velcro to hold the lights to the shell. Found them on Amazon for cheap, nice little package, waterproof, runs on AAA batteries, has a remote with multi color/settings for the LEDS. These will be nice when camping out of the back of the truck

Very cool build. What lights are those from Amazon?

Also I love that bed platform. Very simple and easy to remove. I'm going to try to mimic yours the best I can.

Well I just placed my order for the @DECKEDUSA system for my truck! Pretty stoked on this system. I've been using my homemade bed system and it's been ok but never could come up with a good storage system for under the platform. The decked system solved all these issues. Plus it's water proof which is nice!

Had a bit of time today so I installed some hella horns I've had laying g around d the garage for years. Install was easy and wired up to the existing horn plugs. Much louder than stock....can't wait for someone to pull out in front of me!

Went out exploring for a bit in the Smokys with this wife. Testing out our awning setup over the tailgate in the rain and it worked great. Trucks ready for ️

Got a pretty sweet fire pit set up for our next camping trip. It folds up small and the keep no trace works great with this off the ground fire pit

So I got my rotopax 4 gal tank mounted. Pretty straight forward, had to modify the universal plate a bit to match the bar spacing on my rack. But other than that took maybe 30 minutes to install. Happy with the mounts and location

My @DECKEDUSA system arrived today from carrier company. First off the system was out of its box and on a skid.... shipping company said they all fall out of their boxes. Not sure I believe this. Got all the parts unloaded and in my garage. After starting the install I found multiple parts that were broke. I'm betting the shipping company dropped the whole system and then pawned if off to me. Anyways emailed Decked pictures of the broken parts and they were very quick to respond and help out. Now more waiting as I don't have 3 main components. Hope those parts ship soon. Was hoping to have this system my July 4th for our trip to Grayson Highlands

I am so sorry to see that! I can assure you that, our systems do NOT typically fall out of the box during shipping. I spoke with Liz in our customer service and she assured me that she has already put in the order for the parts you need. Should be there in time for your trip! I hope you enjoy your DECKED system.
