Busy day today. My wife is in a wedding tomorrow so going up for the rehearsal today and all that goes along with that.

Really can't beat the radio for the price. I went with a

$63 Baofeng BF-F8HP (UV-5R 3rd Gen) 8-Watt Dual Band Two-Way Radio (136-174MHz VHF & 400-520MHz UHF) Includes Full Kit with Large Battery

Baofeng BF-F8HP because it's advertised as 8watts. Easily hits the repeaters around me with the mag mount antenna. Just know that the rubber ducky antenna that comes with the radio is junk. Throw it away and use either the mag mount or a true 1/4 wave on the radio.

I also used the same app for my tech license and then used hamtestonline for my general. I'll also use this for my extra class upgrade when I get around to it.

 

Im in the same boat. Pretty impressed with their ride, road holding, ESPECIALLY in the wet, blah blah.
If they were increase the QC significantly, and increase, cost, even.. 10%, it would become pretty popular, very quick.

I have stuff to do today... however, its warm, and not raining.... and it is going to take every bit of me to redeck my porch, instead of going out for a ride....

Haddad has one and so does tire warehouse in pittsfield over on merill rd. People are ehh about tire warehouse, but they did my tires correctly and quickly,even saw them pull out the tq wrench when tightening lugs

 

CR tire in Sturbridge. Supposedly they used a torque wrench as well.

What's the laws about that. Would you pull someone for driving around town yelling at people? Or is it aloud as long as they dont violate noise code?

 

I honestly am not sure. It may fall under the distracted driver laws, but I will have to look it up. It also may fall in line with loud stereos and mufflers. You just gave me something to learn about today
