wanting to purchase an aluminum cap for my 2016 , but would like to see what they look like on a truck and if any problems since Toyota redesigned the bed?

Your best bet would be to check out https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/tonneau-covers-caps-and-shells.198/ . Doesn't seem like many people in Tennessee have aluminum covers.
