    Hello Toyota Lovers

I have a 2009 4 door Tacoma that had the drivers door lock actuator fail. I took it out and left it out so I could find a replacement and put the door back together again so I could continue to drive it. Since then when I shut the drivers door all the door locks click twice as though they are trying to unlock even though they already are. This happens even with the new actuator installed. Usually I can find solution on line but not this time, must not be a common problem. Any help out there, please?! Thanks.

Just replaced all 4 door lock actuator motors in my '14 TRD sport. They didn't work when I bought it used and now when I press lock with the key fob the doors try to lock twice. It doesn't do this when I press the lock button on the driver's side door. I noticed micro switches in the driver's and passengers door locks when I was going into them. Maybe there is some type of feedback to the remote lock "brains" that isn't working right and the truck thinks a door didn't actually lock. I've searched the forums and Google but no luck so far.
