I have looked through several links; but, I have not found one yet that focuses on the wiring phase. I get where and how to place the heating elements. Is there a switched power source under the console big enough for the seat heaters? Help please...

All u need is a add a fuse, tap into any 10amp fuse that is switched. I had an extra one that wasn't being used, I think it was the 3rd one from the left at the top of fuse panel

Hmmm, I did not know that heated seats were possible in a Taco. My wife's Subaru has them, I am a fan. Although she says that impact her gas mileage when she uses them.

At the fuse panel with an add a fuse, I believe it's the 3rd one from the left on top, it's been awhile, mine was empty but live when switched, 10amp fuse, as for the lights on the switches, I tapped the light wire for the shift indicator so they would light up with the lights

Ive installed two sets one in my 2010 from the heatyourseat (check corp) theses seats warmers get really hot. And the second one was in my father in law truck got kit off Ebay $89. Works well switches look factory but they don’t get blazing hot like my kit. Both times ive ran main power to battery with fuse and the other power source from the switched 10amp spot next to driver side 5254DE29-9EBB-4167-BF40-A1B5508CEA87.jpg

I have heaters/coolers in both my front seats and added separate relays for each circuit. Each relay is a standard 4 prong with a 30, 85, 86, and 87 pin. I ran 12v from battery with an inline fuse to the 30 pin. 85 pin is a ground for the relay. 86 is used as a switch running from the relay to an add-a-fuse where I used the rear power window windows as they are only operated with ignition on (20 amp fuses, using driver side for driver seat and passenger side for passenger seat). The 87 pin runs power directly to the seat heater/cooler and placed my switches just below the shifter next to my cupholder.
Here's the relay I used (again ran separate relays for each seat:

Here is my final switch installation:

Also forgot to mention the power coming from seats has a separate ground as well. If you have any questions let me know!

@ blakeyd i almost put my switches there. Thankfully, I hit a nice bump that made my coffee jump out of the cup, and it landed right where your switches are.
I ended up buying the lower dash panel for, I believe it was an 09. It had three cutouts in it for switches. Some trimming and the switches popped right in.

I tend to never have an open container in that cup holder but i will definitely keep that in mind! My switches that came with the Degreez system for my Katzkin are much much larger than my factory switches up on the dash panel, so instead of hacking up the dash to make mine fit, I just decided to tap into that empty space.
