so after I got stuck in the mud back in NOV. I got a rhino usa strap (figured better then nothing) and then my brother got me a bubbarope for xmas. but I also don't air down yet since I haven't needed to. (got stuck in a mud hole that I slid into).

 

comment of the night. hahaha. I like that idea. and for the kayak would be a good idea. been looking at getting one since I'm in the space coast area and got a river right next to me that has some good fishing.

Airing down is common up here for comfort, but I did it down there all the time and it does help add more of a contact patch and allows the tire a bit of give to bite. Jacksonville to cocoa. Just don't powerslide and you won't roll the bead.

 

when were you down here? and that looks nice. I have been thinking about the kit that mounts in the bed cubby. also something else I forgot for my list of wants atm is a snorkel... "submarine life"

I work 630p-5am and freaking love it. I do get to rest though LOL.

Wouldn't bother with the cubby mount. It's actually more useful I'd you can move the compressor around outside of the truck.

Btw I have redesignated my cubby hole for my lithium and silcone sprays. Best choice I've made in awhile.

that I can understand. and was one the things I was thinking about. Do I really want to have a long air hose to reach all the tires... and I could prob use some of those in the rig.

It helps. What ends up happening is you'll need to help someone out who doesn't have air and instead of having to drive up next to them on a tight trail, you can just walk the compressor over.

see, that's why I like this thread. so many good ideas for the noobs. and the radio talk also. which I'm sad to say I did not take my test this last month like I was hoping. had some issues at home.

part of me would want to test for all 3 the same day. just to get it over with. plus that wy I can start to study for my FCC crap. got 8 years till I really need to worry about that but would rather just get it done and over with now so I can work on my NMEA quals and such later.
