    On my 17 Sport, after cleaning the cluster gauge the first time, it was scratched to hell and back, and drove me crazy from that point on. Now I have my 18, I've had it a couple months and am afraid to clean the cluster gauge, as I don't want it all scratched up. Anyone got the voodoo black magic trick they use to clean these things without scratching them all up? Or hell, know of a good aftermarket one that I could get that isn't so fragile as the one Toyota decided to stick into our trucks?

    I know they make screen protectors you can buy for this reason. Also I would think some sort of lens or screen cleaner would work well.

    I'll look into the screen protectors once I figure out how to get it cleaned first, thank you. With winter here finally in Maine, all this sand on the road is putting quite a bit of dust into the air, which is layered on my cluster gauge now and driving me nuts, just don't dare to clean it. :(

    Good call. I think I saw that stuff here locally at one of the parts stores. Going to head over shortly and grab some. Once I get the dust off the cluster, I should hopefully be good to windex the gauges without worry of scratching them. *fingers crossed*

    100%cotton baby diaper with a little plastic polish will make it look new again. That what I have done, I even have a new lense sitting in the box but I don't think I will need it.

    Swiffer would work fine but I had my windows tinted last week, and I'm guessing some of the spray stuff they used, the mist got into the gauges, so it's not just dust I'm removing currently. :(
